Terms of Service
The plain-language rules for Rumpelstiltskin AI: what you buy, the photos you upload, the silent video you get, and what happens when a generation fails.
Last updated: 2026-10-08
The short version
- Rumpelstiltskin AI turns two portraits into a 12-second video of the viral meme: the imp tiptoe-dancing in a candlelit barn while the princess watches. You pick the faces; the scene, camera, and 1980s film look are preset.
- Credits are one-time purchases. No subscription, no auto-renewal, and credits never expire.
- If a generation is confirmed as failed, the credits it used return to your account automatically.
- Upload only photos you have the right to use — which usually means permission from the person in them.
- Videos render silent. You add the meme sound yourself when you post; music licensing is between you and your platform, and we grant no music rights.
Keep reading for the details. These terms apply when you create an account, buy credits, or start a generation.
1. Who we are — and who we are not
Rumpelstiltskin AI (rumpelstiltskin-ai.org) is an independent, fan-made tool built around a meme. "We" and "our" below mean its operator. Reach us any time at support@rumpelstiltskin-ai.org.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any film studio or franchise (including whatever your brain just pictured when you heard the name), Riff Raff or any other recording artist, TikTok, X, YouTube, CapCut, or the AI providers behind the models. When this page names a song, platform, or meme, it is describing the trend — not claiming a partnership or a rights clearance. Our example videos are generated by this same tool; nothing here is clipped from someone's social media.
Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your photos and data. Our Refund Policy explains when money comes back.
2. Your account
You need an account to generate. To use one:
- Be old enough to legally accept these terms where you live. The service is not for children under 13, and anyone under the age of majority needs a parent or guardian's permission.
- Give accurate information and keep your credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account — tell us quickly via a support ticket or email if you suspect someone else got in.
3. The photos you upload
Only upload photos you are allowed to use. Before you send a friend, a pet, or a celebrity through the barn door, make sure you have permission from the person depicted (or their parent or guardian, for kids) — both for the AI transformation and for whatever you plan to post afterward. A photo being public does not make it yours to use. Do not upload identity documents, confidential material, or intimate photos; this tool makes dance videos in a barn, and that is all it should ever make.
You keep whatever rights you hold in your photos. You give us limited permission to process, transmit, and store them — and the videos they produce — to run your generation, deliver the result, keep your history working, and handle related support and safety issues. That permission does not transfer ownership, and we will not feature your photos in public marketing without asking you separately.
4. The videos you get
What a generation is. Each run takes the two portraits you selected and produces a 12-second scene in the preset style — 9:16 or 16:9, your choice. The first photo plays the tiptoeing imp, the second plays the princess. The prompt and the reference video are fixed on our side; you are choosing faces and format, not choreography.
What AI can and cannot do. The model uses your photos as guidance; it does not trace them. Likeness can vary through the clip, faces and movement can distort, and no two runs match. We do not guarantee exact identity preservation, and we do not promise the video will look like anything other than what it is: grainy, 1980s, a little haunted. If a chin looks off in one frame, that is both the aesthetic and the technology.
Sound is on you — by design. Every video renders as a silent MP4. No music is baked in. That keeps licensing clean and matches how the meme actually circulates: you add the "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz" sound in TikTok or CapCut when you post. Understand that:
- We hold no rights to that song, its recording, or the meme's original clip, and buying credits grants you none.
- A platform's music-library license usually covers videos posted inside that platform. It may not cover an exported file, an advertisement, or a repost somewhere else.
- Adding sound, and everything that follows from it, is your decision under the platform's rules and applicable law.
When you post. Follow each platform's rules for AI-generated content — including labeling requirements — and never present an AI video as a real recording of a real person or as anyone's endorsement. We cannot promise a platform will host, distribute, or monetize what you make.
5. Credits: what you are actually buying
Credits are pre-paid generation units. Packs start at $19.90 for 400 credits, and every pack is a one-time purchase: no subscription, no auto-renewal, no recurring charge, and credits never expire.
- The Studio shows the exact credit cost for the model and resolution you select before you start (Basic runs 80 credits at 768P; Premium runs 170–950 depending on resolution).
- Credits are deducted when the task is created, not when it finishes.
- Every new generation is a new charge — rerunning the same two photos costs credits again.
- Pack prices, models, and rates can change for future purchases, but changes never reach back into credits you already bought or charges already made.
Credits are usage units, not money or an investment; they cannot be transferred or sold.
6. When a generation fails
If a task is confirmed failed, the credits it consumed return to your account automatically. You do not have to ask.
Be careful with the word "failed," though:
- A task that is queued, processing, or slow — even one whose outcome looks uncertain — is not a confirmed failure just because it is taking a while.
- A video you dislike is not a failure. It is a video.
- Credit returns are separate from money refunds of the pack itself; the Refund Policy covers when money actually comes back.
If a charge or a task looks wrong, send us the task or order ID and we will investigate.
7. Playing fair
Do not use the service to:
- Violate anyone's privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Create sexual content involving anyone, non-consensual intimate imagery, or anything exploitative. Full stop.
- Impersonate someone to deceive people, fabricate endorsements or evidence, harass, or defraud.
- Upload material you are not authorized to process.
- Attack the service, bypass safety controls, access other users' data, or game the credit, payment, or promotion systems.
Our safety systems or the providers' can reject a request. When we investigate abuse or a complaint, we may review the related task information.
8. Availability, history, and downloads
Generation runs on third-party capacity, networks, and safety review, so completion times vary and we cannot promise uninterrupted access or a fixed turnaround. We may add, change, or retire features and models; payment obligations and unused credits follow the Refund Policy.
My Creations keeps your task history, but it is not an archive. Provider-hosted video links can expire, and a task sitting in your history does not guarantee its video stays downloadable. Download what you want to keep. Clearing an upload slot or closing the page does not delete a task that was already submitted or copies already with the provider.
9. Restrictions, closure, and liability
We can restrict access where reasonably needed to address abuse, security incidents, legal requirements, or violations of these terms — and you can appeal through support if you think we got it wrong. You can stop using the service any time and ask us to close your account; data deletion follows the Privacy Policy, while anything you owe or any legal obligation gets settled separately.
You are responsible for the permissions you claimed and the publishing decisions you made with your inputs and outputs; we remain responsible for operating the service as these terms describe. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise generated content will meet any particular creative or commercial bar, and we are not responsible for losses caused by your unauthorized use of someone else's material or music. Nothing here limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
Have a dispute? Contact support first so we can investigate — that does not block any legal remedy available to you.
10. Changes and contact
The date at the top is this version's date. We post updates here and give additional notice of material changes where the law requires it. Changes apply going forward and never remove rights that came with earlier purchases.
For anything — account, billing, privacy, or content rights — email support@rumpelstiltskin-ai.org or open a support ticket. For a rights complaint, name the material, where it lives (page or task), the right you are claiming, and how to reach you. Never send passwords or full card numbers.
